Catalyst, Arizona PBS (January 2019 – Present)
Assisted with video production (including shooting, interviewing and location scouting), wrote scripts, researched and developed stories about science and technology, edited in Adobe Premiere, and worked with professional cameras.
The Arizona Republic (August 2017 – January 2020)
Photography & Video Journalism Intern
Produced videos and photos in a deadline-oriented environment. Produced episodes of a food series and a special midterm election politics show. Edited and worked in Adobe Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Lightroom and Audition.
Carnegie-Knight News21 (May 2019 – August 2019)
Directed and edited the “Trapped in Recovery” episode of the State of Emergency documentary series. Travelled to U.S. Virgin Islands and produced a segment on the unique risks people with disabilities face in natural disasters. Documentaries won a 2019 EPPY Award and a BEA Award of Excellence.
The State Press (August 2015 – May 2017)
Coordinated a team of video reporters and edited video content, produced videos about student-related issues, developed and edited marketing videos for State Press Magazine.
